Comment: There's issues with citation formats and titling, but that aside, the more fundamental issue is that none of the added sources are about the organisation itself, rather than various peripherals such as the awardees (which nobody doubts is notable). Moreover, see WP:BOSS. 你需要使用至少三个以此会仪为题的报章报道为资料来源,而不是关于某科学家得奖的例行报道,或关于得奖者的其他资料。 Fermiboson (talk) 12:56, 26 December 2025 (UTC)

The International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) held at the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications in Beijing, China is an annual event bringing together mathematicians, theoretical physicists, and theoretical computer scientists to present and celebrate academic work in their respective fields. [1][2][3][4][5][6]
It has been held annually since July, 2023 and is hosted by a scientific committee including Nima Arkani-Hamed, Caucher Birkar, Bong Lian, Juan Maldacena, Dai Qionghai, Nicolai Reshetikhin, Subir Sachdev, Joseph Sifakis, Andrew Yao, and Shing-Tung Yau which is chaired by Shing-Tung Yau with the proceedings published annually by the International Press of Boston. [7]
One of the most notable events of the ICBS is the awarding of the Basic Science Lifetime Award (BSLA),[8][9][10][11] presented to researchers in mathematics, theoretical physics, and theoretical computer science who have had a profound impact on their respective fields. Previous awardees have included David Mumford, Adi Shamir, Edward Witten, Alexei Kitaev, Andrew Wiles, Richard S. Hamilton, [12] Andrew Yao, Leslie Valiant, Shigefumi Mori, George Lusztig, [13][14][15] David Gross, and Samuel C. C. Ting. In addition to the BSLA award, the Frontiers of Science Award (FSA) is awarded for recent research articles of exceptional quality. [16] The meeting also includes events like the Evening of Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, and Computer Science to highlight the three main fields of research celebrated in the ICBS as well as hosting many research talks, a poster session and other events.
The inaugural ICBS was held in July, 2023. [17] The meeting included the opening ceremony for the Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications. The next ICBS meeting is expected to be held in August, 2026.[18]
