Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Articles for Creation backlog drive
[edit]
Hello CharlieMehta:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in December!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than half a month of outstanding reviews from the current 2+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 December 2025 through 31 December 2025.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 3000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 06:07, 23 November 2025 (UTC)
- If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, please remove yourself from the mailing list or alternatively to opt-out of all massmessage mailings, you may add Category:Wikipedians who opt out of message delivery to your user talk page.
Blocked as a sockpuppet

Request reason:
I am requesting an unblock to address the behavioural concerns noted in the SPI closure. I understand the seriousness of these findings and I want to explain my editing history, especially in regard to sourcing from indrastra.com, in order to demonstrate that my conduct has consistently been in good faith and policy-focused. Over my time editing, I have sought community input on sourcing questions rather than acting unilaterally. Please have a look at this... Reliable Sources Noticeboard regarding IndraStra Global (March 2024) (This is about 1 year 8 months ago). In that discussion, I raised concerns about whether material published at indrastra.com or its OJS subdomain should be treated as reliable. Several uninvolved editors, including administrators, offered thoughtful assessments. My participation in that discussion thread clearly shows that I was actively trying to understand and apply Wikipedia’s sourcing policies... not promoting any particular source, coordinating with anyone, or attempting to influence outcomes outside policy.
Accept reason:
Unblocked by Moneytrees per discussion below. - The Bushranger One ping only 05:34, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- Can you explain your block on the Vietnamese Wikipedia? What's going on there? -- asilvering (talk) 06:32, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Asilvering My block on Vietnamese Wikipedia occurred somewhere in mid-2023, when I was still very new to article creation (on wikipedia). I wrote and published an article about KardiaChain to help a friend, which was a genuine mistake from a COI perspective, and I did not realise that topics like cryptocurrency require very strong sourcing and strictly neutral, non-promotional language. The article was deleted for obvious COI issues and non-notability, and because I misunderstood the local deletion process, my comments there were viewed as inappropriate, which led to the block. Looking back now, the deletion decision and the block was completely correct. It was an early mistake made out of inexperience, not intent, and I have never repeated anything similar on English Wikipedia or any other Wikimedia project. I have also explained this context before, including during my application for The Wikipedia Library (which I could not receive at that time due to the global requirement excluding accounts blocked on any Wikimedia project). My explanation remains the same: it was an isolated early mistake which I have to live with. Charlie (talk) 07:15, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Moneytrees, anything you'd like to ask about? -- asilvering (talk) 07:24, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
- Can you elaborate a little on why your friend was interested in KardiaChain? Are there any other edits you've made at the request of other people? Extraordinary Writ (talk) 06:00, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Extraordinary Writ My friend worked at Google (in 2023), and one of KardiaChain’s co-founders is an ex-Google employee, so they were former colleagues. That’s how the topic first came up, and as a new editor I misunderstood what was appropriate and tried to help without realising it created a COI problem. As for your second question... no, I have not made any other edits at the request of any other person on any of the Wikipedia projects. The Vietnamese incident was quite a learning. Charlie (talk) 06:41, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- Do you have any connection or relationship with TCBT1CSI? Extraordinary Writ (talk) 06:53, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- Glad you asked. I took a moment to reply so I could gather the relevant details.
- No, I do not have any connection or relationship with TCBT1CSI. My editing primarily focuses on article pages, whereas TCBT1CSI is more involved in AfD nominations. As per the Editor Interaction Tool, the overlap occurred in only nine AfDs. I have also opposed several of their deletion nominations and, in some cases, deliberately refrained from participating further despite having added a comment. I am adding the list below for your kind consideration.
- 1. Cashfree (nom: Yuvaank on 27 December 2024) – We both voted keep (one of the rarest moment when TCBT1CSI actually participated in an AfD). Result: DELETE
- 2. Apar Industries (nom: TCBT1CSI on 8 March 2025) – I voted for delete on 15 March 2025, and supported it with proper Wikipedia-backed rules. Result: NO CONSENSUS
- 3. Engineers India (nom: TCBT1CSI on 8 March 2025) – I voted for keep on 15 March 2025 and gave out a friendly suggestion to TCBT1CSI: please refer to WP:BEFORE. Result: KEEP
- 4. Sharekhan (nom: TCBT1CSI on 8 March 2025) - I voted for keep on 15 March 2025 and shared 2 journal references as a part of my vote. Result: KEEP
- 5 Savita Oil Technologies (nom: TCBT1CSI on 20 March 2025) - Nomination Withdrawn by: TCBT1CSI on 20 March 2025. I performed the non-admin closure on 21 March 2025 and also left a friendly note on TCBT1CSI's talk page. Result: NON-ADMIN KEEP
- 6. IdeaForge (nom: TCBT1CSI on 26 April 2025) - I joined the AfD on 30 April 2025 to counter someone's opinion and I found my opinion was quite similar with Apar Industries AfD. I put the following comment: "I won’t vote in this deletion discussion because the nomination and my opinion are very similar to what I said in the Apar Industries' AfD.". Result: DELETE
- 7 Thermax (nom: TCBT1CSI on 1 May 2025) - I joined the AfD on 8 May 2025, based on the invite from Imcdc. Just gave my analysis, didn't put any vote. Result: KEEP
- 8 Kushal N. Desai (nom: TCBT1CSI on 1 May 2025) - I voted for delete on 15 May 2025 in 1st re-listing. Result: NO CONSENUS. [FYI: Kushal N. Desai later got renominated by TCBT1CSI two more times - 2nd AfD on 7 July 2025 and 3rd AfD on 30 August 2025. I didn't participate at any]
- 9. Indrashil University (nom: TCBT1CSI on 14 July 2025) - I supported for merge-cum-redirection on 4 August 2025 in 2nd relisting. Result: NO CONSENSUS
- Out of these 9 AfDs, my vote aligned with TCBT1CSI only at three AfDs and those are Cashfree, Apar Industries, and Kushal N. Desai. Charlie (talk) 08:11, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- Adding one non-AfD overlap, the MYBYK page. We both edited this page at different times and reached it through the newcomer task widget. Charlie (talk) 08:24, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- The problem, though, is that you've both added IndraStra links, you've each created a suspicious article about a company on a Southeast Asian–language Wikipedia, you both cast rare keep !votes in that Cashfree AfD (the only time TCBT1CSI has ever !voted keep), this closure of TCBT1CSI's AfD was the only time you've closed someone else's AfD ever, and TCBT1CSI was trying to copy your settings. Can you understand why I'm finding it kind of hard to believe all of that is just a coïncidence? Extraordinary Writ (talk) 19:37, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, I do understand how, when viewed together, these similarities can appear suspicious from the outside.
- IndraStra.com Links
- My use of IndraStra links came from a period when I was trying to understand whether that source was acceptable. My first use of the domain was on INS Jatayu on 3 March 2024, but on 6 March 2024, I added the following "Need better citation" tag stating: “Need better citations; I am not sure whether the current source is reliable (WP:NOTRS).” On the same day, I opened a discussion at RSN and asked for an advice.
- During that RSN discussion, I removed the IndraStra link from the article on 9 March 2024. The RSN thread covered not only the main domain but also the OJS journals hosted by IndraStra. Since the discussion ended without any outcome, I later readded the link on 15 March 2024. After that, I used the indrastra.com only twice more... on 31 July 2025 (Builder.ai) and 13 October 2025 (T-Dome) and this has been noted in the SPI. In case of TCBT1CSI, they used an IndraStra link only once (again as noted in the SPI), on 19 February 2024 (Nuclear power in Japan). I am not aware of their rationale for doing so.
- Cashfree AfD
- That Cashfree AfD is one of the very few instances where my position happened to align with TCBT1CSI. I was more policy inclined in that AfD. In general, our AfD participation shows I disagreed/stayed neutral with most of their nominations. When I later performed the non-admin closure at Savita Oils, I also left a friendly note on their talk page where I clearly asked them not to rush, and that note actually came after I had opposed their previous two AfD nominations back to back - Engineers India and Sharekhan.
- Southeast Asian–language Wikipedia
- That earlier edit on Vietnamese Wikipedia was an isolated mistake from my early days, and I have already explained the circumstances behind it. I have never repeated anything similar on any other project since then. My edit was in Vietnamese, while the edit mentioned for TCBT1CSI was on Indonesian Wikipedia. They were completely separate situations on different language projects, and I cannot speak to their reasoning or intentions. I only became aware of their edit through this SPI.
- twinkleoptions Settings
- The log shows that TCBT1CSI briefly installed my twinkleoptions and then disabled it within a second. This appears consistent with an inexperienced editor testing a publicly visible script and reverting it when it did not work as expected. Beyond that one moment, our common.js files do not resemble each other in any meaningful way. I cannot speak to their intentions. Charlie (talk) 06:38, 6 December 2025 (UTC)
- Hello CharlieMehta, I find your explanation reasonable and I am ready to unblocking you; I think you know to be careful moving forwards. I revoked your userrights when I blocked you; I have no objection to another admin regranting them, but I recommend you spend a few months doing uncontroversial work before asking for them back. Ultimately, I'll leave it up to you. You can link to this comment when asking for them back at WP:PERM, and you can quote me on saying that I consider restoring uncontroversial. Are you ready to be unblocked with this caveat? Moneytrees🏝️(Talk) 20:32, 10 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. And, yes, I am ready to be unblocked under this caveat. Thank you as well for allowing me to reference and quote your comment when the time comes. But, I have one question, since I have gone through NPP training in the past, should I repeat it again? Charlie (talk) 03:39, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
- You wouldn't need to go through the training again, but I wouldn't recommend re-applying for it for a while. -- asilvering (talk) 04:28, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

The article NHPC Khavda Solar Power Plant has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
All sources are WP:ROTM press releases and fail WP:NEWSORGINDIA.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.
If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Aneirinn (talk) 07:56, 13 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Aneirinn Added two more references from Hindu BusinessLine and PIB News, but I will not oppose the proposed deletion. Charlie (talk) 09:00, 13 December 2025 (UTC)
