Holiday Greetings
[edit]
Peace is a state of balance and understanding in yourself and between others, where respect is gained by the acceptance of differences, tolerance persists, conflicts are resolved through dialog, people's rights are respected and their voices are heard, and everyone is at their highest point of serenity without social tension. Happy Holidays to you and yours. It's been a while. Hope all is well! ―Buster7 ☎
About your Signpost article
[edit]Hello! Sorry if I haven't been able to update your In focus blurb as I promised, yet: unfortunately, I haven't had a lot of spare time in these days (mostly due to study duties). I feel so ashamed about it...
I would like to work on it tomorrow, but if the issue needs to get published immediately, we could always recycle the article "from the archives" for the last issue of the year. Oltrepier (talk) 21:51, 26 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hey @Oltrepier, don't worry about it. I have been very sick for the last few days as well. If we can work on this tomorrow, that would be best case scenario. I'd like that, and might have time for me to also write something Soni (talk) 10:12, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Soni, sorry for falling so short of the vision you originally had for the article: you made me realize that my contributions were too generic and frantic to get it to a state where it could be enjoyable for the average listener...
- I hope we can still improve it by the time we publish the next issue! Oltrepier (talk) 13:00, 19 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Oltrepier Apologies for the late reply, I missed a lot of messages. I think you can have a little bit of self confidence :) Sometimes what you write doesn't work out. It happens! If someone helps improve it, great. Else it's what it is. Soni (talk) 10:12, 14 January 2026 (UTC)

Seasons Greetings
[edit]
- User:Soni Just spent some time at the early days of the revision history at Wikipedia:WikiProject Editor Retention/Editor of the Week/Hall of Fame. At the time, you were instrumental in getting things in order. A belated thanks for your efforts!!! Buster Seven Talk (UTC) 18:33, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
- @Buster7 Thank you for your nice message. And yeah, there were a few of us who did spend a considerable amount of effort and time making the Eddies look good and professional, as well as feeling good. I can't remember what exactly I did, but I do vaguely remember spending a ton of time beautifying our template as well, trying to make it look as fancy as possible. :)
- It's awesome to see good things you do keep making positive impacts over the years. Thank you for doing so much for EotW! Soni (talk) 10:15, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
