Funkcija

Protein kodiran ovim genom je citokin koji pripada porodici liganda faktora tumorske nekroze (TNF). Ovaj citokin je ligand za receptor TNFRSF18/AITR/GITR. Pokazalo se da modulira preživljavanje T-limfocit a u perifernim tkivima. Ovaj citokin je također otkriven u endotelnim ćelijama i smatra se da je važan za interakciju između njih T-limfocita.[7]
