Sebastes joyneri és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels sebàstids i a l'ordre dels escorpeniformes.^[1]

Reproducció

És de fecundació interna^[2] i vivípar.^[3]

Alimentació

El seu nivell tròfic és de 3,09.^[4]

Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica

És un peix marí, demersal i de clima temperat, el qual viu al Pacífic^[5] nord-occidental: el Japó (les prefectures de Niigata i d'Iwate),^{[6][5][7][8][9][10][11]} Corea del Sud,^[12][13] Taiwan^[14][15] i la mar del Japó.^{[5][16][17][18][19][20]}

Observacions

És inofensiu per als humans^[19] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és d'alt a molt alt (66 de 100).^[21]
