La squadra di football dei Wyoming Cowboys rappresenta l'Università del Wyoming. I Cowboys competono nella Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) della National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) e nella Mountain West Conference. La squadra è allenata da Jay Sawvel. Gioca le sue gare interne al War Memorial Stadium di Laramie, Wyoming,[1] e le sue rivalità principali sono con i Colorado State Rams, gli Utah State Aggies, gli Hawaii Rainbow Warriors e gli Air Force Falcons.
