Sacciolepis là một chi thực vật có hoa trong họ Cỏ (Poaceae).^[2][3] Cupscale grass là tên thông thường tiếng Anh cho nhiều loài thuộc chi này.^[4]

Chúng phân bố rộng tại vùng nhiệt đới và ôn đới ấm. Nhiều trong số này có nguồn gốc châu Phi, số khác tại châu Á, Úc, và châu Mỹ.^{[5][6][7][8][9][10]}

Chúng có thể là cây thường niên hay lưu niên. Cụm hoa thường mọc thành đám dày. Sacciolepis mọc tại những vùng ẩm ướt, như đồng lầy hay bờ nước.^[7] Sacciolepis có quan hệ gần với Panicum.^[5][6]
