Phoxocampus belcheri és una espècie de peix de la família dels singnàtids i de l'ordre dels singnatiformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 7,2 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Reproducció

És ovovivípar i el mascle transporta els ous en una bossa ventral, la qual es troba a sota de la cua.^[6]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 0-25 m de fondària.^[4]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des del Mar Roig i l'Àfrica oriental^[7] fins al Japó, Fiji i Tonga.^{[8][4][9][10] [11][12][13][14][15][16] [17] [18][19][20]}
