Raja straeleni és una espècie de peix de la família dels raids i de l'ordre dels raïformes.

És ovípar[6] i els ous tenen com a banyes a la closca.[7]

Alimentació

Menja invertebrats i peixos.[4]

Hàbitat

[modifica]

És un peix marí, de clima tropical i demersal que viu entre 80–800 m de fondària.[4][8]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a l'oceà Atlàntic oriental: des del Sàhara Occidental fins a Sud-àfrica.[4][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16]

Observacions

És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
