Neoperla clymene és una espècie d'insecte plecòpter pertanyent a la família dels pèrlids.[5]

Alimentació

Les nimfes es nodreixen principalment a la nit d'ous de tricòpters i de la seua mateixa espècie -el canibalisme hi és usual en aquest estadi-; larves de Cheumatopsyche, de quironòmids i de Simulium; nematodes i nimfes de Neochoroterpes.[6]

Hàbitat

En el seu estadi immadur és aquàtic i viu a l'aigua dolça, mentre que com a adult és terrestre i volador.[7]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Nord-amèrica: des de Texas[8][9] i Oklahoma fins a Carolina del Nord,[10] Illinois,[11][12][13][14] Virgínia i Pennsilvània,[15] incloent-hi Geòrgia, Alabama,[16] Florida,[17][18] Iowa,[19][20] Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana,[21] Mississipi, Carolina del Sud i Virgínia de l'Oest.[4][22][7][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30]
