Rudolfo A. Anaya (30. lokakuuta 1937 – 28. kesäkuuta 2020 [1] ) oli meksikolais -yhdysvaltalainen kirjailija . Hänen ensimmäinen julkaistu kirjansa oli Bless Me, Ultima (1972 ), nyttemmin eräs chicanokirjallisuuden klassikkoteoksista. Hänelle myönnettiin vuonna 2001 National Medal of Arts .
Anaya syntyi Uudessa Meksikossa ja opiskeli Uuden Meksikon yliopistossa . Hän puhui lapsuudenkodissaan yksinomaan espanjaa ja meni vuonna 1966 naimisiin Patricia Lawlessin kanssa.[2]
Anayalle asui Albuquerquessa ja toimi englannin kielen emeritusprofessorina Uuden Meksikon yliopistossa. Hänelle myönnettiin muun muassa Premio Quinto Sol -palkinto.
