Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 11 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Reproducció

És ovípar amb larves i ous planctònics.^[6]

Depredadors

És depredat per Stenella attenuata^[7] i Stenella longirostris (a les Filipines)^[8]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes.^[4]
