Pristipomoides auricilla és una espècie de peix de la família dels lutjànids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 45 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 90-360 m de fondària.^[4][6]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba des de Reunió^[7] fins a les Hawaii,^[8][9] el Japó,^[10] Austràlia^[11] i Nova Caledònia.^{[4][12][13][14][15][16][17][18]}

Ús comercial

Es comercialitza fresc.^[19]
