Kepler-87 is a star slightly more massive than the Sun and it is nearing the end of its main-sequence period.[3]
Planetary system
[edit]Kepler-87 hosts four planets, two confirmed (Kepler-87b,[4] Kepler-87c[5] and two unconfirmed (Kepler-87d, Kepler-87e). It is the farthest system from the Sun with two unconfirmed planet candidates at 4021 light-years.[citation needed]
