കേരളം, കർണ്ണാടക, മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര, നാഗാലാൻഡ്, പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാൾ എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഇവയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജനുവരി , ജൂൺ ,ആഗസ്റ്റ്‌-ഡിസംബർ മാസങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇവയെ കാണാറുള്ളത് .[4]
