AR-A000002 je lek, koji jedno od prvih jedinjenja razvijenih da deluje kao selektivni antagonist za serotoninski receptor 5-HT1B,[1] sa približno 10x većom selektivnošću za 5-HT1B u odnosu na srodni 5-HT1D receptor.[2] Bilo je pokazano da proizvodi održivo povećanje nivoa serotonina u mozgu, i da ima anksiolitsko dejstvo u životinjskim studijama.[3][4]
